The cabin structure is now well visible, but still needs finishing (April 2010). The interior is being finished and fitted out. Nothing fancy will be done in that department, but a minimum of liveability will hopefully be achieved. After all, I whish to sail in company.

The ama has been buit in GRP by Miguel Pomar. He will also build the decks for it.

Arpex is a 30ft. tacking outrigger.

It is thought to be a light and fast daysailor, with a sheltered sitting position and capability for weekending.

Exterior deckspace is prioritized over cabin room.

The cabin offers comfortable sitting headroom and a double bunk.

Arpex is currently being built in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The main hull is almost completed (Oct. 2009).

Illustration over images of the semi finished cabin space.

Generous windows should make the cabin a comfortable position for a passenger.

The bed is extendable to make for a good double bunk, for weekending.

Cabin interior is 95% finished.

All decks are closed and anti-skid applied. Painting will follow in short - January 2013.

The boat is now painted, and almost ready to go to the water. Amazing how things take time! Looking at the last post from January 2013... Time flies!
